Location: Marion Leisure and Fitness Centre, 228 Oaklands Rd, Morphettville SA 5043
Remuneration: Sporting Organisations Award 2020 – Clerical and Administration Grade 3-4 (dependent on experience)

Reporting to the General Manager - Gymnastics Development, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of coach and judge education, while also providing essential support across a range of events.

Position Overview
This dual-focused role plays a central part in shaping and delivering educational experiences for coaches, judges, and clubs, while also providing practical support to ensure the successful delivery of events. Reporting to the General Manager - Gymnastics Development, this role directly contributes to personal development.
Key Responsibilities
· Grow and educate our workforce (paid and voluntary) through development and engagement strategies aligned with Gymnastics Australia requirements.
· Support the implementation of professional development pathways for coaches, judges, and club personnel.
· Maintain current records of accreditations and assist members in accessing training and education.
· Facilitate ongoing improvement through feedback and engagement with participants and presenters.
· Perform general administrative event duties including scheduling, data entry, document preparation, and internal/external communication.
· Coordinate planning and on-ground delivery of gymnastics events and competitions.
Aims and Deliverables
Pathways Pillar
Aim: To grow and educate the workforce (paid and voluntary) by implementing development and engagement strategies and delivering events that enhance community engagement, support pathways, and promote gymnastics for all.
· Increase the coaching workforce by targeting and promoting fundamental coaching accreditations (particularly in the 14–18-year-old category).
· Increase the number of qualified judges by promoting and facilitating judge workshops and courses across all gymsports.
· Provide professional development for current members through one face-to-face congress per gymsport annually and a Youth Leadership Day.
· Increase the number of Presenters, Assessors, and Club Coach Educators.
Connect Pillar
Aim: To engage with clubs, members, and the community to tailor support and services that enhance their experience and development within gymnastics.
· Provide relevant professional development support to clubs.
· Facilitate quarterly Youth Advisory 'drop-in' sessions.
· Collaborate to ensure marketing tools are in place to support athlete, club, and member experience based on feedback and metrics.
About You
· Qualifications or experience in education, sport management, or a related field.
· Sound understanding of gymnastics (or willingness to learn), especially coach and judge education.
· Proven ability to plan and deliver structured training programs and events.
· Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
· Organised, collaborative, and able to work independently.
· Committed to inclusivity, equity, and child safety.
Work Hours & Requirements
Flexibility is required for weekend events, after-hours work, and travel across South Australia. Preferred work hours (negotiable for the right candidate):
· Monday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
· Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
· Thursday: 12:15 PM - 5:00 PM
· Friday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
· Weekend work required (weekly hours will be reduced to cater for this)
