We operate a thriving wedding business while hosting a variety of in house events and three accommodation suites onsite. This position offers an opportunity to be part of our small vibrant team and learn the industry from highly experienced Venue/Event Managers.
This exciting opportunity for a Weddings and Events Coordinator will support all team members including the owners, events team, housekeeper and facilities staff with a variety of responsibilities with no two days the same.
Responsibilities include
Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone and email
Assisting with general enquiries
Hosting tours of the property with prospective clients
Meeting with clients to discuss their needs, identifying upsell opportunities and outline our package options available
Creating detailed run sheets to ensure smooth running of all farm operations
General office administrative and operational tasks to assist the Events team
Weekend function room set ups and hands on service delivery of events including moving furniture, setting tables and stocking bars, using high attention to details to ensure all set up exceeds our clients wishes and expectations.
Skills and competencies
A highly organised, self motivated individual
The ability to work under pressure, with changing priorities and deadlines
Effective and professional written and verbal communication including excellent spelling and grammar
High attention to detail and ability to keep on top of enquiries and client coordination simultaneously
“Can Do” attitude and willing to pitch in where required to assist all members of our small team
Physically fit
Hold a current RSA certificate or willing to obtain one prior to starting role
Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
