WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Business Services are seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst.

The role develops and evaluates complex strategic, operational and financial data sets to determine performance insights, correlations between metrics and forward projections of likely service performance and outcomes. Undertakes complex analytical and metric-based projects to meet organisational needs, with a strong focus on client engagement and requirements.

Provides support to the Senior Analysts with the submission of national collection data sets (e.g. National Hospital Cost Data Collection and Local Hospital Networks/Public Hospital Establishment submissions) and supports the organisation’s project initiatives through research, analysis and reporting activities.

WACHS is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia. Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for permanent appointment, applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.
