Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support digital frontline transformation initiatives. This is a Perth-based role offering a mix of strategic and hands-on business analysis within agile and waterfall project environments. 3 days in-office required with occasional travel to site.

The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong infrastructure or IT project experience to join a high-profile transformation program. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll play a critical role in shaping solutions, driving engagement with stakeholders, and evaluating technical and business outcomes across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and monitoring activities for stakeholder engagement.
• Manage the lifecycle of requirements – from elicitation to verification and traceability.
• Perform detailed current and future state analysis, including risk and GAP assessments.
• Create and manage test plans and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Evaluate and define solution performance against business requirements and benefits.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including running sprints and daily scrums.
• Contribute to both infrastructure and application development lifecycles.
• Support project management activities across all phases.
• Conduct stakeholder mapping, impact analysis, and planning.
• Apply sound business acumen and organisational understanding to all BA activities.

About You:Required:

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Infrastructure Analyst.
• Skilled in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.
• Proficient in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Experience across full system development lifecycles.
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, IT, Networking, or Software Engineering.
• Ability and willingness to travel to site on an ad hoc basis.

Highly Regarded:

• Exposure to mining or heavy industry environments.
• Familiarity with BPMN modelling and BABOK/PMI-ACP standards.
• Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and project management methodologies such as PMP or PRINCE2.
