Apex is a diversified group in the construction industry, with expertise spanning various sectors, including building and construction, steel manufacturing, cabinetry, plumbing, scaffolding, earthworks, and so on. We are currently looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on leading the development of an advanced information management system, with the goal of improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our group's management.
Successful applicant is expected to deliver the following job duties:
- Conduct small-scale software development, analyzing the business needs of the group and its subsidiaries to define requirements for smart site management, ERP, CRM, and BIM systems.
- Oversee third-party development teams, ensuring the design and development meet system optimization goals.
- Supervise the implementation of smart site management and ERP systems, coordinating internal and external resources for on-time delivery.
- Optimize core ERP functions, such as procurement, inventory management, and production scheduling, to enhance cross-department collaboration.
- Gather requirements and design the group's IT framework, coordinating with third-party software and hardware providers for technology integration.
- Plan project budgets and resources, evaluating technology application cycles and costs to create stage-specific development plans.
- Perform system tests and optimize performance, delivering IT solutions that meet business needs.
- Provide technical support and training for users, enabling quick adoption of new systems.
- Train suppliers to manage orders and participate in system data management.
- Prepare detailed requirement and functional documents, reviewing and refining third-party deliverables to ensure accurate implementation.
- Facilitate seamless integration of new and existing systems, ensuring data consistency and system stability.
- Oversee the creation of user manuals and technical documentation, ensuring systems are user-friendly.
- Use data visualization tools, like Power BI, to create real-time reports that support decision-making and process optimization.
- Develop the group’s data management system, including data migration, modeling, and quality verification.
- Implement a data governance framework, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations, including data privacy laws.
- Coordinate data backup and recovery strategies, ensuring security and reliability of system data.
Salary: $85,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year + superannuation
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in information systems analysis, project management or software implementation. Applicants with experience in the construction or manufacturing industry are preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, smart site management tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Good communication and cross-department collaboration skills, able to work efficiently with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Candidates familiar with business process optimization and system integration technologies will be preferred.
