National Sales and Marketing Manager - Position Description

Overview

This role is responsible for developing and executing national sales and marketing strategies to drive substantial and sustained growth. The position requires a blend of strategic planning, account management, team leadership, and marketing execution.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Account Management

Manage and retain key national accounts.

Develop and implement account management plans.

Address client issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Business Development Management and Contract Management

Coach and mentor regional Business Development Managers (BDMs).

Implement training in estimating for the DBMs

Conduct contract management activities.

Track and report on regional sales performance.

Identify areas for improvement in sales processes.

Implement a CRM successfully.

Marketing Activities

Develop and implement national marketing strategies.

Oversee marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Explore cost-effective marketing solutions, including offshoring.

Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics.

Keep abreast and implement any AI technology.

Strategic Planning and Leadership

Work with the CEO to develop growth “glide paths” in the chosen markets

Contribute to the overall business planning and strategy.
