Legal book keeper 2 or 3 days per week in Sydney CBD
We are a boutique Wills & Estates law firm based in the Sydney CBD with a reputation for excellence and a specialisation in Wills and Estate planning, succession law and estate administration.
The applicant will have responsibility for all aspects of day to day bookkeeping and payroll functions for the firm.
The successful applicant will be a key member of the firm reporting to the managing partner.
Responsibilities include:
Trust, office and general accounting;
Payroll for a staff of 8;
Accounts payable and receivable;
BAS returns;
Credit control.
To be successful you will have training and a minimum of 3 years experience of legal trust accounting and be familiar with Xero, and preferably LEAP software.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential. You will need to demonstrate an ability to work within a small team environment.
The successful applicant will have a work history in the legal industry.
Position is available for immediate start. There is some degree of flexibility on number of days and hours. This is primarily an office based position.
