About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and trusted finance professional to join our team in a hybrid role as an SMSF Accountant, Bookkeeper, and Executive Assistant. This is a rare opportunity for someone who is not only up to date with financial compliance and accounting regulations but also thrives in a role supporting the operations of a dynamic business leader across multiple ventures.
The successful candidate will work closely with the principal and will be paid through the SMSF structure, so strong knowledge of SMSF compliance is essential.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
🔹 SMSF Accounting & Compliance
Manage all aspects of a Self-Managed Super Fund
Ensure ATO compliance, annual reporting, and audit readiness
Provide strategic insights and work with financial advisors/auditors as required
🔹 Company Bookkeeping
Day-to-day bookkeeping for trading entities (e.g., Xero)
BAS preparation, bank reconciliations, payroll coordination
Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting
Support in managing multiple business structures
🔹 Executive Assistant Duties
Help coordinate meetings, calendar management, and follow-ups
Assist with document preparation, filing, and contract tracking
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
General admin support across investment, property, and business matters

Who You Are:
A registered SMSF Accountant or experienced in SMSF administration
Strong bookkeeping skills with experience in cloud-based systems like Xero, BGL, or Class
Tech-savvy, well-organised, and detail-oriented
Self-managed and proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do
Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle both professional and personal matters
Bonus: Prior experience supporting a business owner or investor
