About the role

As our Finance Coordinator, you’ll be across every dollar that moves through the business. You’ll own the day-to-day finance and admin tasks that keep our business running. From tracking job margins and monitoring cash flow, to making sure invoicing is tight and nothing falls through the cracks

You’ll also manage inboxes, help departments stay aligned, and support the leadership team with finance and admin tasks that make a real impact.

This role spans across multiple businesses within our ecosystem, so you’ll need to be confident juggling different sets of financials while keeping everything aligned and accurate.

What you’ll do

You’ll wear a few hats in this role: finance, admin, and a bit of problem-solving.

Expect a mix of day-to-day essentials and bigger-picture thinking.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

Keep Xero updated: AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll support

Review our job software (Prime) to flag missing invoices, margin dips, or overcharges

Monitor cash flow and provide accurate forecasts for upcoming periods

Prepare monthly and annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

Raise red flags: missed invoices, overcharges, or margin dips

Support leadership with reporting, planning, and finance-based decision making

Collaborate across departments to offer financial insight and direction

Assist with BAS, super, and EOFY prep for external accountants

Stay on top of admin basics like inboxes, work orders, and digital filing

Help develop and improve financial management systems, policies and procedures

You’ll have freedom to improve how things run, whether that’s a smarter report, better process, or simple fix that saves hours.

About you

You’re someone who takes ownership and brings order to the chaos. You love a clean system, a reconciled account, and a task that’s been ticked off before it’s even due.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

5+ years experience in finance admin, bookkeeping, or operational support

CA/CPA qualified

Advanced level in Xero, Excel, and digital project systems

Strong attention to detail (You double-check your work without being asked)

Strong understanding of cash flow, margins, and job costing

Proactive communication: you don’t sit on a problem, you raise it and solve it

Ability to work autonomously

Bonus points if...

You have experience within the property or construction sectors

You've worked alongside project managers or understand the ins and outs of insurance jobs

You have worked with Prime before
