Detail Healthcare is a leading specialist endocrinology and diabetes private practice based at the St Vincents Hospital Campus in East Lismore NSW.

The Opportunity:
Our practice is looking for a confident, friendly and highly proficient Receptionist/Admin support to join our growing practice.
You don’t have to have direct medical administration experience , but you will need to have an applicable skill set.
The successful applicant will form a valued part of our team providing first-rate customer service to our patients, and detail orientated administration support to our dedicated health care professionals. We require a dependable team player with excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
Remuneration and hours: $27-$40 p/h (subject to expertise) plus super and potential for performance based bonuses.
Casual or permanent part time - approx 20 hours per week, but it can grow into more if that’s what you’d like. Lets have a chat about what your needs are.
What you'll be doing (but not exclusively)
Greeting and welcoming patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner.
Managing patient inquiries and bookings
Managing patient appointments, including cancellation list and ensuring referrals are up to date
Coordinating patient records and updating medical information
Ensuring all patient results and correspondence are on file
Attend to general administrative tasks required by health care providers in a timely manner
Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
Liaising with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations
Processing patient billing/receipting for consultations - including private billing and medicare.
Scanning and faxing of documents
Follow established practice protocols and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.

Are you:
Courteous, friendly with a professional manner.
A people person with great verbal and written communication skills.
Computer proficient ( Apple Mac and Google workspace use is a plus)
Composed under pressure and a proactive problem solver
Exceptional at time management with stellar organisational skills - a multitasker who knows how to prioritise effectively.
Able to work independently and in a team
