An exciting part-time opportunity is currently available for a skilled, passionate, and an experienced Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join our team 4 days per week with an immediate start including working on Saturday's on a roster basis.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, and working and supporting the medical administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality patient experience as well as analyzing practice data to optimize patient care co-ordination.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Reception and general administration duties including: appointment bookings, data entry, point of contact at the clinic, patient enquiries, complete all patient billing and invoicing, general reception duties.
Analyze Practice Data to engage patients in the management of their health conditions.
Co-ordinate Preventative Health consultations.
Maintain electronic appointment booking systems, contact book, reminder systems.
Collate clinical information to assist Doctors in patient engagement.
Co-ordinate complex care appointments among Doctors and Nurses in the Practice
Preparing advertisements, marketing material and running projects.
Participate and lead data quality projects as requested by the Practice Manager.
Answer and responding to telephone enquiries in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
Liaising with referring doctors, other healthcare professionals and hospital staff.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer focus
To be successful for this position, you must have at least one (1) year of previous experience as a Receptionist/Administrator, preferably within a General or Specialist Medical Practice or Hospital, together with:
A “can do” attitude and be a proactive/forward thinker.
Being a self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn.
Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Have the proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team.
Excellent planning and organisational skills together with the ability to priorities competing priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications/Tech Savvy.
A mature attitude and ability to resolve conflict in a positive and respectful manner.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.
