The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Coordinator to lead the development and execution of marketing & communications strategies to promote Diabetes WA's services and drive community engagement.

Position Details:

Type: Part-time permanent role working 45 hours per fortnight (0.6 FTE), with flexible work options considered (e.g. school hours, hybrid work arrangements).

Salary: Competitive salary starting at $39.85 per hour + super ($77,721 full time equivalent).

Key Responsibilities:

Research, write and edit high quality communications, including media releases; social media, website and intranet content; collateral; brochures; reports; and event and stakeholder communications.

Work with internal teams to develop, plan and implement product and program marketing plans aligned to Diabetes WA marketing strategy.

Coordinate and develop creative content via videography and photography for impactful and engaging storytelling.

Produce program resources and collateral (digital or print) – including promotional flyers, program handouts and booklets.

Drive digital engagement across all platforms.

Ideal Candidate (Selection Criteria):

At least two years' experience in a similar role

Writing, design and content development skills across a range of platforms

Demonstrated understanding of how marketing strategy translates to business.

Demonstrated digital literacy (Microsoft 365, Adobe InDesign)

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Communications, Marketing, PR)

Experience in the not-for-profit/health sector is desirable
