We’re currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator professional to join our dynamic team in Dandenong South on a 12 Month Contract. About the Role

The Safety Coordinator is a key member of the safety team, the purpose of this role is to support the effective implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) systems, policies, and practices across the organisation. The Safety Coordinator plays a key role in fostering a culture of safety by assisting with risk management, compliance, training, and continuous improvement activities. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in health and safety while making a positive impact on the wellbeing of employees.

Key responsibilities

Support the development, implementation, and review of OHS policies, procedures, and systems.

Assist in incident investigations and contribute to corrective actions.

Coordinate RTW programs, liaising with injured workers, medical providers, and insurers.

Facilitate safety training and inductions to promote a strong safety culture.

Maintain accurate OHS records, including training, incidents, and risk documentation.

Participate in inspections and audits to identify risks and drive improvements.

Ensure administrative compliance with OHS systems and reporting requirements.

Contribute to ongoing improvement of the OHS management system.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in a safety role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly regarded

Understanding of relevant OHS legislation and standards in Victoria

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Suites

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in information management.
