Our NSW Government client is urgently seeking the below 2 positions.
Manager, Release and Environment
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 12 months
Positions - 1
Pay Rate: 800 per day plus super
Hours of Work: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
Location: Sydney CBD
Hybrid working arrangements - The successful candidate will be required to attend the office 2-3 days per week (flexible on the other days.
Senior Identity & Access Governance Analyst

The Release and Environment Manager
Will lead and manage release management activities and processes within the Cluster to ensure release-related risks are mitigated and services are delivered in line with business expectations.
Key accountabilities
• Leads and manages the assessment, analysis, planning, and design of release packages, including assessment of risk, to ensure the delivery of all key milestones and outcomes within scope, on time, and to meet or exceed expectations
• Plans and prioritises the release request portfolio and the ICT environment according to client demand and service provider capability, including determining the appropriate timing of releases, to ensure the portfolio of outsourced shared services and the integrity of the managed environment are effectively delivered
• Liaises with key business stakeholders and Service Providers on release scheduling and communication of progress to lead and facilitate effective service operations
• Verifies all requirements have been met for a change and/or release of a product or service into the service delivery network to ensure release processes and procedures are applied and organisational readiness to maintain operational continuity
• Identifies, evaluates, and manages the adoption of appropriate release and deployment tools, techniques, and processes, including automation, to drive long-term benefits and optimal service deliveryRole Description Manager, Release and Environment 2
• Leads and monitors capability improvement initiatives, such as maturity or performance assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses and mitigate risks, and identify new areas of capability improvement within the Cluster, which may be enhancements to skills, technology, or processes to maximise quality service outcomes and facilitate organisational continuous improvement
• Guides and monitors the incident process to ensure incidents are handled according to agreed procedures, and incident resolution outcomes are documented to reduce the impact of incidents on the business and ensure continuous improvement of customer support services.
• Maintains knowledge and awareness of relevant issues, insights, challenges, industry trends and practices, and opportunities to identify, pursue, evaluate, recommend, and deliver innovative solutions that optimise outcomes and contribute to a best practice business function in line with organisational and government priorities
Key challenges
• Managing, planning, prioritising, and optimising the portfolio of release requests and the outsourced and insourced shared services in a highly complex multi-vendor and multi-tenanted environment
• Facilitating delivery of releases according to defined schedule, cost, and quality criteria
• Liaising and building trust and mutual respect with a wide range of change stakeholders across a broad, complex set of clients in an outsourced shared services model
Senior Identity & Access Governance Analyst
Involving the consolidation of ERP systems and processes, IT service and incident management, and travel and expense management, the program will lead to a better employee experience and enable more efficient sector mobility. Additionally, common, streamlined, and efficient processes will allow our people to better focus on our customers.
The Senior Identity and Access Governance Analyst will develop, implement, and drive continuous improvement of the identity governance function. Develop and document Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
Key accountabilities
• Drive identity governance initiatives and develop and continuously improve the identity governance function to support internal policies, regulatory compliance, and industry standards
• Oversee and run identity governance campaigns using the identity governance tool to ensure the reviews are completed and objectives are met.
• Build strategic relationships and work with internal and external stakeholders to expand the identity governance function, build capability, drive a governance culture, and develop trust and confidence in
The IAM function.
• Provide data and IAM system activities and generate reports detailing the activities and usage of the identity & access management system, to support and inform audits and security assessments.
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide advice and recommendations to contribute to the development of an environment of continuous improvement in identity governance practices.
• Identify and document business processes related to identity governance to enforce compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies.
Key challenges
• Ensuring user access reviews are completed by the business in the required timeframes, given other conflicting and competing priorities.
