Senior Business Analyst - ServiceNow - Financial Services

Rate: $900 - $1000 per day

Duration: 12 months (view to extend)

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

Join a high-performing technology team within a leading financial services organisation, driving ongoing enhancements to a recently implemented ServiceNow platform!

We are supporting a financial services client who are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong ServiceNow experience to support the next phase of platform maturity. Having successfully rolled out ServiceNow across the business, they are now focused on optimisation, stakeholder adoption, and regulatory alignment.

What you'll be doing:

• Partnering with business, technology, and compliance stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business and technical requirements
• Translating complex requirements into clear user stories for development and QA teams
• Supporting enhancement initiatives across ITSM and risk/compliance use cases within the ServiceNow platform
• Working closely with developers to ensure build aligns with business objectives
• Assisting QA teams with test case creation and reviewing UAT outcomes prior to go-live
• Collaborating with risk and change teams to ensure regulatory compliance (APRA-aligned) and user adoption
• Creating or contributing to training and change materials for end users

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst within enterprise environments
• Financial service background is preferred not essential
• Strong background working on ServiceNow projects - either implementation or post-go-live optimisation
• Experience engaging cross-functional teams including risk, technology, QA, and change
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
• Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g. APRA, ASIC) is a bonus
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
