GB Galvanizing is a renowned family-owned galvanizing company who has been in operation for over 40 years. We have plants in both Dandenong and Bayswater; you will be working primarily from the Bayswater office from Monday to Friday.

This opportunity will suit an experienced HR Administrator that is familiar with managing the full employee life cycle and the understanding of Workers Compensation and Return to Work programs/Injury management.

You will also be responsible for the weekly payroll and monthly/EOFY reporting.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include

Ensure compliance with OH&S and Workcover regulations.

Manage workers compensation claims.

Develop Return to Work plans.

Be first point of contact for injury/illness reporting.

Monitor Lost Time Injuries.

EBA process & negotiations

Provide interpretation of EBA and Fair work legislation.

HR administrative functions; recruitment process, policy development, records & employee management etc.

End to end payroll functions

Managing leave requests

To be successful you will need:

Experience within a HR environment

Understanding of injury management

Attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills

Intermediate Microsoft office skills and IT capability

Knowledge of the ADP Payroll System "Payforce" is an advantage but not essential.
