Sales Development Manager – Asia Pacific

Location: Perth, WA

This organisation is changing the way mineral exploration businesses engage with investors and stakeholders by combining AI-driven solutions with immersive visualisation tools. As the company continues to expand across the Asia Pacific region, they are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Sales Development Manager to lead growth within their visualisation offering.

Their solutions help exploration companies better communicate the value of their work through interactive 3D and 360° presentations, underpinned by artificial intelligence that enhances geological targeting and decision-making.

With a solid reputation across North America, the company is now investing in a strategic push into the Asia Pacific market, with a particular focus on Australia’s mining and capital markets landscape. Based in Perth, you will take the lead in driving regional sales efforts, building a robust pipeline, and forging lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategic Sales Execution

· Collaborate with senior commercial stakeholders to develop and implement a forward-thinking regional sales strategy, targeting both emerging and established players in the mining and capital markets sectors.

· Represent the company at conferences, in-person meetings, and industry events to raise brand awareness and gather insights into market trends.

· Pipeline Development & Revenue Growth

· Take ownership of lead generation via outbound, inbound, and referral channels.

· Conduct initial discovery calls, qualify leads, and coordinate product demonstrations with Enterprise Account Managers.

· Deliver against clearly defined sales targets, leveraging CRM tools and performance data to refine your approach and maximise results.

· Client Relationship Management

· Build strong, long-term relationships with key prospects and stakeholders, positioning the company as a trusted partner in their exploration journey.

· Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for clients by managing proposal documentation and handovers to internal teams.

· Work with strategic account managers to develop account growth plans and encourage referral-based sales.

· Market Intelligence & Forecasting

· Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving client needs to inform your sales strategy.

· Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to broader commercial planning.

· Build subject matter knowledge of the mining investment space to add value through insightful, relevant conversations.

Candidate Profile

· Degree-qualified in Business, Marketing, Geology, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications or certifications in mining or capital markets are advantageous)

· Minimum of five years’ B2B sales experience, ideally within mining, mining services, or related technology

· Proven track record of revenue generation in a technology-led environment

· Strong understanding of mining operations, exploration workflows, and investor relations

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

· Ability to operate both independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced environment

· Proficient in CRM systems and data-driven sales tools

· Bonus: Familiarity with AI solutions or immersive visual technologies in the resources sector
