MMB Electrical Services is a locally owned mechanical electrical company based in Wangara, WA. We specialise in mechanical electrical, BMS/control installs, and custom switchboard manufacturing for commercial and industrial projects across WA. We’re growing—and we need a sharp, motivated Estimator to help us price and win the right work.

About You

You’re someone who thrives on accuracy, loves solving problems before they happen, and is ready to use your site experience in a smarter way.

You’re either:
✔️ A seasoned tradesman (electrical or mechanical) ready to step off the tools into estimating
✔️ A project manager or site supervisor looking to get out of the chaos and into a strategic, stable role
✔️ Or already an estimator who wants more autonomy, better projects, and a crew that backs you

You understand what it takes to make a job run smoothly—and what it costs when things go wrong. You’re sharp with numbers, confident reading plans, and can spot opportunities to price smarter and win work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Interpreting drawings and specs to price mechanical electrical works

Preparing accurate estimates for projects including HVAC, BMS, control panels, and commercial installs

Working with suppliers and subcontractors to get the best pricing and turnaround

Collaborating with our in-house team and project managers to shape competitive, profitable bids

Supporting tender submissions and identifying value-engineered alternatives

Tracking awarded jobs vs. estimates to improve accuracy and margin

Who This Role Suits

A Senior Electrician or Mechanical Tech looking to transition off the tools into an office-based estimating role

A Project Manager or Site Supervisor tired of long hours, endless site stress, and looking to apply their experience in a smarter, more strategic way

Someone who understands site reality and can price accordingly—with an eye for margin, quality, and risk

A motivated self-starter who wants to grow with a business that backs its people

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of mechanical or electrical trade or project experience (estimating experience preferred, not essential)

Strong understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, switchboards, and BMS installations

Proficient with estimating tools (SimPRO, Groundplan, Excel) or willing to learn

Good communication and organisational skills

Ability to read plans and spot opportunities or issues before they become a problem

Attention to detail and commercial awareness
