Urban Building Group (wa) is seeking a talented and experienced Building Estimator to join our dynamic team in Willetton, WA. At UBGWA we provide Construction and Project Management services through Residential ,Commercial , Modular , Offices and Shops throughout WA . As a Building Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and financial analysis to support our operations.

Knowledge of Residential Renovations is an advantage .

Must WA Building Industry Estimating Experience

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment requirements

Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to identify potential risks and opportunities

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate cost data

Develop and maintain cost databases to ensure consistent and reliable estimates

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender submissions

Monitor and track project costs during the construction phase to identify any variances or issues

Provide regular reporting and analysis to the management team

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Building Estimator

Proficient in the use of estimating software and tools.

Strong understanding of Western Australian construction methods, materials, and industry regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Effective communication and presentation skills

Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
