We’re looking for a Junior Mechanic (or mechanically-minded individual) to join our team servicing and repairing a range of lawn and garden equipment. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job and develop your skills in small engine mechanics with guidance from experienced technicians.

What You’ll Do

Assist with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of lawnmowers, brushcutters, chainsaws, and other outdoor power equipment.

Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for workshop jobs or customer delivery.

Carry out basic mechanical tasks under supervision, including oil changes, blade sharpening, filter replacement, etc.

Help maintain a tidy, safe, and organised workshop.

Support the team with stock handling, equipment setups, and other general duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

A strong interest in mechanics or outdoor power equipment.

Some experience with tools or hands-on mechanical work (school, home, TAFE, or prior job).

Willingness to learn and take direction.

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.

Positive attitude and team player.

Desirable

Current driver's licence.

Enrolled in or interested in starting a mechanical apprenticeship (small engines, automotive, or similar).
