Rockhampton Marine – Central Queensland’s premier marine dealership – is on the hunt for a fully qualified Marine Technician / Marine Mechanic to join our growing team.

As a flagship dealer for Makocraft, Dunbier Trailers, and Tohatsu Outboards, and with an expanding range of boats, outboards, and marine accessories, we need a skilled and motivated technician who is passionate about the boating lifestyle and committed to delivering top-notch workmanship.

About the Role:

This full-time position involves servicing and repairing a variety of outboard motors (primarily four-stroke), rigging & Setup of new boat packages, diagnostics, trailer repairs & Servicing , and general marine mechanical work.

What We’re Looking For:

Fully qualified Marine Technician / Marine Mechanic (Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology or equivalent – must be qualified)

Experience with outboard motors (Tohatsu, Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki etc.)

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

High standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver’s licence (car licence required, boat licence highly regarded)

Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
