We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanic with experience in small engines and outdoor power equipment to join our busy and well-established lawnmower dealership. This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled technician who enjoys variety, takes pride in their workmanship, and values great customer service.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including ride-on mowers, push mowers, brush cutters, chainsaws, and more.

Carry out pre-delivery inspections and equipment setups.

Assist with warranty claims, service bulletins, and technical documentation.

Provide guidance and mentoring to junior workshop staff or apprentices.

Liaise with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs when required.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in small engine, outdoor power equipment, automotive, or agricultural machinery.

Trade qualification in mechanical, small engines, or equivalent experience.

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship.

Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
