BJ’s Sound and Lighting is a leading provider of Audio-visual and CCTV solutions in Southeast Queensland. We specialise in providing services to the hospitality, pub and Club industry. Our team is passionate about our projects, and we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic full time AV Technician to join our Coppers Plains team.

As audio-visual Technician, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn and develop the skills necessary to also become a qualified Security Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about AV and security and eager to start a rewarding career in the industry. As BJ’s is a multi-trade company you will also gain experience and knowledge across a wide range of AV and electronic security.

Role Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Audio-Visual systems, large LED displays, MATV, Commercial Audio including CCTV and alarm systems.

Learn to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to various AV equipment.

Participate in on-the-job training and attend relevant courses to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring successful outcomes for our clients.

Follow all safety requirements and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for our team and customers.

Skills and Qualities Required:

Manual drivers license, or the ability to obtain one.

Strong work ethic, attention to details, commitment and willingness to learn.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Enjoy problem solving and working with your hands.
