Sunset Skin Cancer and Medical Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic Medical receptionist to join our Clinic on a casual basis.

The practice will soon be home to a total of 6 GPs. The clinic also provides treatment room services and chronic disease management with skilled nurses.

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and committed applicant to join our practice team. The successful applicant will be someone who enjoys customer service and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.

The position is a Casual position with some predictable hours and other hours available to assist with leave coverage and other projects.

The Role

Provide a high standard of administrative support to our patients and GP's

Answering telephone calls, scheduling of appointments and enquiries

Welcoming and greeting patients

Knowledge of general practice Medicare billings preferred

General administrative/reception tasks associated to the role

All other general daily administrative duties as required for the role.

Experience and Key Responsibilities

Previous experience in a receptionist/administrator role preferable but not essential as training will be provided to the right applicant

Previous experience working in a similar healthcare role desirable

Experience with Best Practice software desirable. Proficient computer skills essential.

Time management and organisational skills essential

Answering phone enquiries in a polite and helpful manner in a timely manner

Triaging patients and monitoring waiting room

Remuneration in accordance with experience and qualifications.
