About the role

Gratis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Rostering Officer to join our dynamic team in Taperoo, SA. As a Rostering Officer, you will play a crucial role in matching and rostering staff to provide support to our home care clients. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work for a reputable and growing organisation committed to making a positive impact in the community.

What you'll be doing

Building and maintaining rosters for our workforce by applying effective and efficient rostering practices

Liaising with clients and support workers to understand their scheduling requirements and preferences

Liaising with the Gratis onboarding team and care managers to find the best staff match for our clients

Rapidly reallocating shifts because of planned and unplanned leave

Communicating roster changes and updates to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner

Assisting with the resolution of any schedule-related queries or issues

Contributing to the continuous improvement of rostering processes and systems

What we're looking for

A person with a high attention to detail

Previous rostering experience, in the aged care environment

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Good understanding of SCHADS Award re employee regulations and conditions, preferred but not essential

Proficiency in Visual Care (Essential)

Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A genuine passion for supporting the older person living at home
