About the Role

In this role, you will be an integral team member servicing a portfolio of clients, so an ideal candidate for this position needs the following qualities:

Highly professional, well-presented

Excellent communication skills

Ability to problem-solve

A keen eye for detail and efficiency gains

Conscientious and hard-working, with the ability to work towards deadlines

Enjoys being part of a team but can work autonomously

Willingness to learn about new technology and add-on/app products

Happy to work with clients via Zoom

Skills and Experience

The key skills required to fill this role are:

Capable of all technical aspects involved in a bookkeeping role, including payroll, EOY + EOM processe

A minimum of Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping

Extremely proficient in XERO (Certificates highly desirable)

High-level MYOB and QBO skills (Certificates highly desirable)

High-level accounting tasks to trial balance

Ability to assist clients with one-on-one XERO, MYOB, and QBO support and training

The ability to help our clients streamline business systems and processes

Payroll administration experience

Experience with Cashflow and Budgets

Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

Ability to communicate with clients about their financial reporting and provide strategic financial advice

Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

Develop and implement efficient bookkeeping processes and systems for clients

Offer support to clients

Stay updated with the latest accounting software updates and industry trends to offer clients the best possible solutions
