Our current bookkeeping employee is retiring, so we are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to work approx 5-8 hours a week. This role would suit someone who would prefer to work a little each day, or split the weekly hours over 2 shifts. To begin with the work will be performed at our Willawong office, however the option to discuss hybrid or WFH can be explored after the successful applicant is familiar with our processes.

Must have experience in bookkeeping, and strong knowledge of Xero, preferably in a small business retail/wholesale environment

Experience in Neto (our eCommerce system) desirable, but not necessary

Thorough understanding of GST and reconciling bank accounts, and multiple incoming payment methods

Experience in lodging quarterly BAS

High level of attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and ability to troubleshoot discrepancies and under/overpayments.

Preparing draft P&L and Balance Sheets monthly for management
