Project Manager – Civil Construction

We’re working with a leading civil construction business with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects across Sydney. They’re now looking for an experienced Project Manager to take charge of major works and lead from the front on delivery, compliance, and performance.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment, and who knows how to get the best out of their team while ensuring every project hits its time, cost, quality and safety targets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead the delivery of civil construction projects from planning to close-out

Coordinate and manage site teams, engineers, and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental policies and procedures

Develop and implement construction methodologies and recovery programs when needed

Manage project budgets, forecasting, claims, variations, and reporting

Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal leaders

Champion a culture of safety, performance and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil infrastructure or related sectors

Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills

Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach

Ability to mentor and develop junior staff and engineers

Strong understanding of WHS, quality systems, and environmental legislation

Confident communicator with a client-first mindset
