About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Support professional to join our dynamic team at ECS (AUSTRALIA ) PTY LTD' in Croydon South and Keilor Park, Victoria. This full-time position will play a vital role in our Freight/Cargo Forwarding Sales and Marketing within the broader Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

Develop new business and prospects with a hunting and growth mindset across small, medium and large shippers

Grow new and develop existing business relationships to grow your pipeline and achieve/exceed the sales targets agreed upon.

Be confident in approaching prospects, presenting freight rates

Maintain and extend relationships with your clients with a focus on industry and market development trends

Provide updated quotations

Monitor market trends and keep clients updated on latest developments as affects their business

Prepare various sales-related reports, proposals and presentations

Keep company CRM records updated

Collaborating with the broader team to continuously improve International Freight operations

What we're looking for

Experience in an international freight sales or freight forwarding role

An understanding of export/import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in using relevant logistics and shipping software

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
