Join a busy, well-established ophthalmology practice in Adelaide!

Eyemedics is seeking a part time professional, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our large, friendly, and supportive team working between 30-35 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient service.

What you'll be doing:

· Welcoming patients and managing front desk enquiries

· Handling incoming phone calls and responding to emailed enquiries

· Making patient appointments

· Processing payments, Medicare claims, and specialist referrals

· Maintaining accurate patient records and correspondence

· Scanning and uploading documents to patient records

· Supporting clinicians and administrative staff in a large, team-focused environment

· Delivering excellent customer service with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail

What we’re looking for:

· Experience in medical reception or administration (specialist/ophthalmology experience highly regarded)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· High level customer service skills

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a busy practice

· Proficiency with medical software (Genie or similar preferred)

· Experience in medical typing would be advantageous but not essential

· A positive, team-oriented attitude

· An Australian resident – we are unable to provide work sponsorship

· Current National Police Clearance

· Current Working with Children Check (SA)
