About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Daw Park Medical Centre. This is a casual role based in Daw Park, SA 5041, providing front-line support to our patients and healthcare professionals. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for all who visit our practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients, providing an exceptional customer service experience

Efficiently managing patient bookings, appointments and enquiries

Handling patient registration, check-in and check-out processes

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Assisting with general administrative duties as required

Working closely with the clinical team to support the smooth running of the practice

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar customer service role in a healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients of all backgrounds

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively

Proficient in using medical practice management software and standard office applications

A caring and empathetic approach, with a genuine interest in supporting patient wellbeing

Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality and attention to detail
