We're looking for a Team Coordinator to join CDAH!
We are a disabled people's organisation (DPO) based in the heart of Newcastle. As a DPO, we are run by and for people with disability. We are a purpose-driven organisation, guided by the vision of an inclusive and just society where people with disability have genuine voice, choice, and control. Our work is rooted in peer-led support, fostering empowerment and advocating for the rights of people with disability.
Our Disability Consulting (DisCo) team is our disability lived experience consulting team that delivers diversity, equity and inclusion services to organisations wanting to be more disability inclusive.
The Role
We are seeking a Team Coordinator to support our DisCo team to ensure the day-to-day operations of the team run smoothly. Working 3 days a week, this role is pivotal in coordinating client projects, overseeing the DisCo team and supporting administration and data management.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Administrative tasks including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and reports as required
Works as the central point of contact for the DisCo team including scheduling and logistics of work and delegating work in line with client projects.
Facilitate clear and consistent communication with the team and clients
Maintain training and marketing/promotional material
Organising of team events, workshops training and logistics as required
Data administration systems including managing of contacts and deals
Utilising of accounting system, generating quotes and assisting team members with timesheets
Working to peer’s reasonable and necessary adjustments
All other responsibilities as directed by the Centre Manager
About You
You are an organised and motivated individual with experience in high-level administration and operational support. You have excellent project management skills and are familiar with office systems and procedures. More than just skills, you are passionate about social justice, the rights of people with disability, and committed to promoting an inclusive workplace.
Experience in high-level administration, project management, and operational support
Effective communication and time management skills, with the ability to work in diverse teams
Active CDAH member, or keen to embrace CDAH vision and values
Motivated team player with a commitment to social justice
Current Working with Children Check
