Role Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a senior commercial, finance, or strategy role.
• CPA or CA qualification is essential.
• Proven ability to operate as a strategic business partner and commercial leader.
• Strong knowledge of taxation (direct and indirect), including compliance across federal and state levels.
• Familiarity with commercial contracts, government tenders, or legal frameworks is advantageous.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and understanding of GAAP preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project execution and commercial planning

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key commercial advisor to the Executive Board and senior leadership, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
• Translate the long-term business vision into actionable short-term and medium-term commercial goals.
• Drive consistent and strategic messaging across departments, ensuring commercial alignment and accountability.
• Provide strong oversight of regulatory compliance, applying governance standards that exceed statutory requirements.
• Manage tax planning and international commercial arrangements in alignment with regulatory and stakeholder requirements.
• Identify and lead opportunities for commercial expansion through integration or diversification (horizontal, vertical, or congeneric).
• Support real estate and asset planning initiatives related to the group’s operations and growth.
• Liaise with external partners and subcontractors to ensure optimal commercial arrangements and service outcomes.
