Prime Kitchens Group is a well-established cabinetry manufacturer located in Campbellfield, specialising in high-quality kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and custom joinery for domestic builders and homeowners across Melbourne. We are currently seeking a Production & Drawings Coordinator to join our experienced and supportive team.

This role is ideal for a skilled cabinet maker looking to transition off the tools into a coordination-focused position—overseeing production workflow, reviewing shop drawings, and serving as the key link between the design office and the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

Review and finalise shop drawings prepared in CabMaster

Oversee and manage daily production workflow and scheduling

Perform final quality checks on all jobs prior to delivery

Act as a liaison between the design/office team and factory floor

Supervise and monitor the use of key machinery: CNC, EdgeBander, and Panel Saw

Provide training and mentoring to new factory team members

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workshop

About You:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in cabinet making

Strong understanding of custom cabinetry production from start to finish

Proficient in CabMaster software, with the ability to interpret and assess technical drawings (Desired)

Confident in managing a production team and workflow

Hands-on knowledge of factory machinery and processes, while you won’t be on the tools day-to-day, you should be ready to jump in when needed

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
