WAREHOUSE WORKER

IntraSpace is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to fill a delivery/logistics position. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our high-quality furniture and cabinetry products to our valued customers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their orders in a timely manner.

This position requires a demonstrated responsible attitude towards assisting with the daily deliveries and pick ups that are required by the Projects and Operations Teams.

We supply and install Storage systems and Furniture in Healthcare / Education / Councils and Corporate businesse

What you'll be doing

Safely load, transport, and unload furniture and cabinetry products using appropriate handling techniques

Deliver products to customer locations within scheduled timeframes and assist with setting up furniture if required in correct location within client's offices.

Provide exceptional customer service, including communicating with customers regarding delivery status and resolving any issues that may arise.

Understand that delivering a great experience to the customer is the main purpose of the role.

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle. Daily unloading and reloading of truck/van

Assist with the loading and unloading of goods at the warehouse as required

Comply with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and adhere to safe working procedures at all times

Obtaining sign offs from clients and completing of photos of delivery and uploading proof of delivery

Not limited to only deliveries - warehouse and on site installation work could be needed.

What we're looking for

A valid MR Truck Licence, Driver's licence (car, C class) and previous experience in a similar delivery role

Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture and cabinetry items

A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team

Forklift Driving - a valid forklift licence is an added advantage

Will possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team. The right candidate will also be able to manage their time, set priorities, have a strong attention to detail and reporting back.

Remuneration would be paid on a weekly basis for hours completed in that week.
