About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / NDIS Invoicing Officer to join our team on a casual basis (2 days per week). This role is ideal for someone with a finance or admin background who has a solid understanding of the NDIS claiming process and a sharp eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
· Accurately prepare and issue invoices using Xero, aligned with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements
· Submit and manage client claims through PRODA
· Liaise with Plan Managers, Support Coordinators, and the NDIA to resolve payment issues
· Investigate discrepancies, ensure correct line items are used, and verify charges
· Support the creation of Schedule of Supports and Rosters of Care
· Monitor receivables and aged debtors, proactively following up on overdue payments
· Maintain detailed records of billing correspondence and collection activity
· Assist with general bookkeeping and accounts admin tasks as required
· Collaborate with the operations and administration teams to resolve invoicing issues
Skills and Experience
· Minimum 1 year in a finance, accounts, or admin support role
· Strong working knowledge of NDIS line items, pricing, and funding structures
· Experience using Xero and Deputy (required)
· Experience with PRODA claiming (preferred)
· High accuracy and attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
· Ability to work independently and take initiative
Mandatory Requirements
· Current NDIS Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card) or willingness to obtain
· Current Blue Card or willingness to obtain
· Understanding of the NDIS operational and compliance framework
