🔑 Key Responsibilities

As Sales Manager, you will lead the national sales effort with a strong focus on strategy, team performance, and commercial outcomes. Your role will include:

Recruit, manage and mentor a team of Business Development Managers, ensuring both individual and team KPIs are consistently met.

Supporting your team with prospecting, cold calling, solution design, and closing — leading by example.

Conducting regular coaching, ride-alongs, and performance reviews to develop capability and accountability.

Overseeing pipeline management and forecasting via the company CRM.

Driving accountability for weekly sales activity, monthly revenue targets, and the quality of customer engagement.

Collaborating with leadership to refine go-to-market strategies and uncover new growth opportunities.

Ensuring deep understanding and consistent application of Transfreight’s service portfolio, pricing, and operational framework.

Assisting with complex or high-value opportunities, including meetings, proposals, and negotiations.

Maintaining oversight of local and interstate sales activity, with periodic travel as required.

Championing a culture of customer-first selling, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement
