About the role

This full-time Administrative Accountant role at Kings Cut Concrete in Dandenong South presents an excellent opportunity to join a well-established construction company. As the Administrative Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations and providing critical administrative support to the broader business.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements and reports

Processing accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner

Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements

Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

Generating invoices and following up on payments owed

Providing administrative support to the management team as needed

Implementing and improving financial policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar administrative accounting role, preferably within the construction industry

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements

Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other office productivity tools

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

Proactive, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
