ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will support our depot operations in the Victoria region - based from our modern Wodonga office.

You will be experienced, reliable and able to provide efficient day-to-day collections support to the team.

Working in a dynamic environment, you will have the ability to learn quickly, demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand, and have excellent problem solving and time management skills.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing incoming payments, ensuring they are allocated correctly to customer accounts

Maintaining and updating customer accounts

Following up overdue accounts and working with customers to resolve outstanding payments

Reconciling customer accounts

General administration, data entry and office support

Answering telephones and responding to email enquiries

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up, escalations and preparing outgoing correspondence as required

Working closely with Operations, Sales, Administration and Management to ensure the flow of information

Other duties as requested

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role is highly regarded

Display a calm approach to difficult conversations which may sometimes present in the debt recovery function

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders

Detail orientated, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at once

Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player

Proficient in office software and administrative systems, with a willingness to learn new tools and processes

Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitasks and prioritise workload

Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard
