Underwood Dental Care, a leading dental practice in Underwood QLD 4119, is seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our dental practice.

Key responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and passing instruments as needed

Greet and welcome patients, manage patient records and schedules, and handle administrative tasks such as billing and insurance claims

Ensure the dental practice is well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment

Maintain a high standard of infection control and adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols

Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients throughout their visit

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare/customer service role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail

Proficiency in using dental software and technology

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a professional, caring attitude

Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies

Relevant qualifications or certifications in dental assisting or a related field
