National Dental Care is seeking a dynamic, experienced and highly-organised Dental Assistant to join the team in a full time capacity at our busy Mount Isa practice.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant in our thriving Mount Isa practice, you’ll play a key role in clinical treatment. You’ll confidently and expertly provide high quality clinical and administrative assistance to practice clinicians, as well as engage with patients in a positive and professional way. Your energetic nature and strong organisational skills will help to ensure the ongoing success of the practice and the satisfaction of patients.

Skills & Experience

You have:

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (12+ months preferred)

Certificate III on IV in Dental Assisting - desirable

Dental Receptionist experience - highly regarded

Sound computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite

Previous experience using Dental 4 Windows (D4W) - desirable

Good knowledge of infection control

On the job training will be provided

You are:

Highly professional, with a polished image and good personal presentation

An excellent communicator - both written and oral - with strong attention to detail

Extremely organised, with the ability to prioritise busy workloads and manage multiple demands within required timeframes

Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
