Madison Plaza Townsville is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team.

Located in the heart of Townsville, Madison Plaza Townsville offers a warm and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. As part of the La Vie Hotels & Resorts group, we pride ourselves on exceptional service, attention to detail, and creating memorable stays for every guest.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This part-time position involves working a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and check-in guests in a professional and efficient manner

Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and phone calls

Process payments and maintain accurate records

Assist with guest requests and provide local recommendations

Maintain a clean and organised front desk and lobby area

Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams

Ensure guest satisfaction and escalate any concerns when necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role (preferred)

A warm, professional, and positive attitude

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Familiarity with hotel booking systems is an advantage
