In this role you will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for Reservations and Reception duties which include:
Reception/Reservations Consultant - Primarily resposible for handling Reservations via phone, email, and online platforms, managing systems, addressing customer inquiries and occassionally upselling services.
Hotel Receptionist - Focuses on Front Desk operations, including check-in/check out procedures, greeting guests, payment handling, providing information and managing key and room assisgnments.
Completing any other tasks as designated by the Duty Manager/Operations Manager.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Hold a Cert II or Cert III in Hospitality or have at least one year experience in a Hotel/Resort
Previous experience with a property management system. Preferably Opera
Exceptional customer service skills, communication and time management skills
A friendly and outgoing personality
Proven ability to work unsupervised
A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills
Strong analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy and accuracy
Ability to work Early, Late and Mid Shifts. Be reliable and flexible with the ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends.
