The Opportunity

This newly created Bookkeeper role offers the chance to support the finance function of a successful and growing family group. You’ll manage the day-to-day accounts processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role offers flexibility to work remotely and part-time.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing and managing accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll processing for a small team
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• BAS and superannuation compliance
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting
• Liaising with external accountants and suppliers

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this role if you possess the following:

• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer
• Proficient in Xero or similar accounting systems
• Strong understanding of payroll, AP, AR, and reconciliations
• Comfortable working autonomously with a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Preference for a part-time, flexible working arrangement
