We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper who is looking to step up and take a leadership role within our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing payroll. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and have an enthusiasm for keeping the numbers neat and tidy.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and end to end bookkeeping across multiple entities

Preparing and lodging monthly and quarterly IAS/BAS statements

Handling end-of-financial-year tasks, such as Workcover, STP finalisation and prepare financial reports

Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments (debtor follow up is minimal)

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding billing matters

Maintain customer records

Manage our outsourced payroll consultants

Liaise with our accountants & banking/finance partners

Ideal background:

10+ years of experience in bookkeeping

Tertiary bookkeeping qualifications will be highly regarded

Strong understanding (and love) of your debits and credits

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Do you have?

A minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper?

Outstanding written & verbal communication skills?

The ability to build strong long-lasting relationships?

A high level of attention to detail & excellent problem solving skills?

Attractive salary $90-105k (dep on exp) + super & bonuses.
