About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Managing Director and cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, and Operations), this role is pivotal in delivering high-quality reporting and financial analysis to drive decision-making and improve business performance.

You'll work 3 days per week with a mix of onsite and remote flexibility, in a collaborative environment that values initiative, insight, and impact. 4 days will also be considered as well as hours split across 5 days to accommodate school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver weekly customer SKU performance reports, highlighting trends and key insights
• Conduct monthly market performance and competitor analysis
• Provide weekly sales variance analysis and reporting
• Support product pricing activities with financial models and analysis
• Analyse customer profitability and track marketing/advertising ROI
• Review operational costs to identify efficiencies and savings
• Assist in month-end close through management report preparation and P&L insights
• Provide ad-hoc reports and support to both internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with annual budgeting process in partnership with senior leadership

About You

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:

Technical Skills

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
• Advanced Excel skills (Macros not required, but welcomed)
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience using large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is advantageous
• CPA/CA qualified or studying towards (not essential but a plus)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot trends and anomalies
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Clear, confident communication and ability to work across teams
• Self-starter with excellent organisational skills
• Inquisitive, solutions-oriented, and eager to add value
