Corsaire Aviation is seeking a positive, skilled and motivated Helicopter Operations Coordinator to support and coordinate our flight activities. This is a critical role ensuring the safety, efficiency, and excellence of our helicopter works. We operate across all of Western Australia, with bases in Jandakot, Dongara, Exmouth, Newman and also the Kimberley.

About the Role:

The role entails understanding contracts, dealing with clients, quoting tasks, using accounting software and Microsoft programs efficiently. You will be working closely with the chief pilot to help manage pilot rostering, aircraft maintenance planning and logistics around operating in remote parts of Western Australia. Helping plan, book and arrange travel is a large part of the role. Understanding contracts and reconciling invoices along with flight following tasks are also parts of this diverse role.

The role is an exciting and at times fast paced. Organisation skills are crucial along with a positive can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule daily helicopter flight operations

Monitor flight plans, weather, airspace, and safety procedures, responsible flight following personnel

Serve as liaison between pilots, maintenance crews, and logistics personnel

Help track aircraft status, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation

Assist with load planning and weight & balance calculations

Provide operational support in emergency or unscheduled scenarios

Beneficial Prior Experience:

Prior experience in aviation operations, dispatch, or a similar role (helicopter experience preferred)

Strong understanding of aviation safety protocols and the ever-changing environment

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A positive mindset is crucial.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment

Proficiency in aviation operations software (e.g., FlightAware, TracPlus, ForeFlight, Ozrunways) is a plus
