Narellan Eye Specialists is a busy and multidisciplinary ophthalmic practice located in Narellan, NSW. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Ophthalmic assistant / receptionist to join a team of 8 Ophthalmologists, 5 Orthoptists and 10 receptionists. This role is also suitable for experienced candidates from other areas such as nursing and science degree backgrounds.

We sub- specialise in:

· Cataract surgery

· Corneal related conditions and surgery

· Oculoplastics

· Glaucoma

· Refractive surgery

· Medical retina

· Surgical retina

· Lacrimal and orbital surgeries

Employment type:

· Permanent full-time

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

· Perform various ophthalmic tests

· Administration duties including making appointments and billing.

Skills required:

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Reliability, efficiency and the ability to work under pressure.

· Experience with Best Practice VIP software is advantageous but not essential.
