About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Urological Practice in St Leonards and Mona Vale, NSW. As a full-time Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our urology practice. What you'll be doing

Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal clinic flow

Process patient registrations, insurance information, and medical records

Handle patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone, in a timely and efficient manner

Assist with the coordination of specialist referrals and test results

Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to medical practice policies and procedures

Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

Processing health fund claims, Medicare and patient claims

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Medical Receptionist

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using medical practice management software (Genie) and Microsoft Office suite

A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
