The Role
MQ Health is currently recruiting for a Physiotherapy Receptionist and Administration Assistant to provide high quality support services to the medical practice physiotherapists and clinicians. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, making appointments and answering enquiries from patients and medical practitioners. You will have extensive experience in scheduling appointments, calendar management, managing patient records and data entry. This role will also have a large focus on billing, invoicing and insurance claims process, with your knowledge in medical specific codes and processes being a vital asset to the team.
Previous experience in Allied Health administration is highly desirable with a general understanding of physiotherapy services and terminology being significantly beneficial for the role.

To Apply
To be considered for this position, demonstrate the below requirements in your CV and a 1-2-page cover letter
- Demonstrated sound verbal and written communication skills and ability to build rapport and empathise with patients
- Demonstrated commitment to high level of customer service delivered in a professional manner at all times
- Extensive experience in appointment scheduling, calendar management, management of patient records and data entry (electronic & paper based).
- Demonstrated experience in billing, invoicing, stock management (clinical and office) and insurance claims processing
- Competency in health-related software packages (Genie or Best Practice)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Desirable
- Demonstrated 3 years reception and/or administration experience - preferably working in a general or specialist medical practice or hospital setting (but not essential)
- Experience in allied health administration, with a basic understanding of physiotherapy services and terminology.
- Experience working with and knowledge of medical billing codes and insurance processes.
